More Tips on Choosing a Quercetin Supplement:
1. Stick to Reputable Nutritional Brands You Know
First of all, you’ll find many quercetin supplements online from brands you’ve never heard of. Because the FDA doesn’t regulate these all-natural supplements, I prefer sticking to reputable brands, like the ones listed above.

2. Should You Take Quercetin with Bromelain?
Secondly, some people like products that contain bromelain because they provide an additional nutrient. Additionally, bromelain (a pineapple-derived nutrient) aids in digestion. Therefore, if you frequently suffer from indigestion, you may want to try a quercetin supplement with bromelain.
However, bromelain can aggravate some people’s stomachs. Therefore, if you have a bad reaction when you consume pineapple, you may want to avoid products that contain this natural enzyme.
3. Look at the Total Immune Boosting Power of the Product
Third, some supplements include a variety of different ingredients to enhance their immune-boosting power. However, they can reduce the amount of quercetin in each serving to make room for the additional ingredients. Thus, these products may just be equally as powerful, rather than more.
Note: For example, one quercetin product that I like comes from a brand I already trust, Source Naturals. Their capsules also contain Bromelain, Vitamin C and Magnesium. Plus, each serving still contains a whopping 1 gram of quercetin. (By the way, that’s more than most quercetin-only products provide!)
So, Who has the Best Quercetin Price?
In summary, I like and trust each of the companies listed in the above chart. Having said that, choosing the best quercetin supplement for you will really come down to personal preference.
Also, if you simply want to buy according to the best price, I’ve included a cost breakdown per 500 mg quercetin below. (Keep in mind that quercetin dihydrate is the preferred form, since the human body absorbs it better.)
- Solgar: 28-48 cents per serving
- Now Foods: 15-18 cents (dihydrate)
- Jarrow: 20-25 cents
- Doctor’s Best: 23-28 cents
- Source Naturals: 20-27 cents
- Life Extension: 53-73 cents (dihydrate)
- MicroIngredients Powder: 15-19 cents (dihydrate)
- Solaray: 16-20 cents
In summary, MicroIngredients offers the best quercetin supplement as far as price goes. Some people like to blend it in a high-antioxidant smoothie, however, you can just mix it in water too.
On the other hand, you may not want to deal with a messy quercetin powder, especially if you travel a lot. In that case, tablets/capsules may work better for you. Plus, if you prefer a more bioavailable quercetin like the dihydrate, Now Foods offers the best deal.
